Manager Compensation HRIS Services will plan,organize, manage and control the overall operations of theCompensation & HRIS Department which includes job analysis, jobevaluation, job descriptions, salary surveys, compensationadministration, salary administration pay plan, policies, practicesand procedures; division-wide performance appraisal review andorganizational studies; Human Resource data base system (HRIS) dataowner; Job Evaluation Management System (JEM); onboarding system;position control; employee records; employee recreationalactivities; company store operations; and other activitiesassociated with department goals and objectives.

ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS

Manage and coordinate activities of employees within thedepartment; provide guidance and resolve problems. Coordinate thework of department with other departments in the Division;consultants; federal, state and local government; and otherexternal customers. Plan, schedule and assign work to employees;monitor work progress/quality and the adherence of time schedules;ensure timely preparation of reports; cost analysis reports;prepare/monitor annual budget and resource management. Conductbriefing/planning sessions, compensation audits, convene/attendcompensation policy meetings and HNS meetings with departments anddepartmental personnel; and chair various committees. Prepare,review, revise, monitor and approve recommendations, reports,policies, procedures, studies, HRIS Business Requirements/reports,performance appraisals, daily time reporting, compensation audits,and various documents, forms and records. Provide for and beadministratively responsible for a capable staff to meet thecurrent commitments and future challenges in the Compensation &HRIS area by developing performance standards, job competencies,and proper selection, development and motivation of highlyqualified employees. Meet and counsel with variousexecutives/departmental personnel; resolve problems/makerecommendations as required; collaborate with management andcustomers; and communicate Change Management. Stay abreast of upto-date developments in the field of Compensation & HRIS; federal,state and local government laws and regulations; and Division HRpolicies/procedures. Responsible for overall safety, work practicesand operations. Perform other duties as directed. Qualifications

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

Compensation Professional (CCP)Certification preferred. A valid driver’s license from state ofresidence is required.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in BusinessAdministration, Human Resources, Management, Marketing or relatedfield is required. MBA or Master’s Degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE

4-6years Compensation/HRIS professional level experience is required.

Must have 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience.

ADDITIONALINFORMATION

Must successfully complete NIMS Training within I yearof entering the job. Must have an occupationally significantcombination of: ability to apply business principles and methods inthe overall operations of the department; ability to plan,formulate and execute programs/policies; effective communicationskills; high level of analytical skills; managerial problem-solvingand decision-making skills; perceptive ability; leadership.

Physical Demands:

Requires sedentary work involving standing orwalking for brief periods, exerting up to 10 pounds of force on aregular basis; and some dexterity in operating office equipment.

Sensory (ADA)

Requirements:

The position requires normal visualacuity and field of vision, hearing and speaking abilities.

Subjects to hazards at work sites during analysis.
