Full Job Description Department Office of Title IX Responsibilities Complaint Resolution and Investigations:

Utilizes sound judgment and critical thinking during the intake, informal resolution, and formal investigation of sexual misconduct, relationship violence, stalking, and/or sex-based discrimination complaints and in generating strategies and/or recommendations for the resolution of complaints. Conducts thorough, reliable, prompt, fair, and impartial investigations of complaints. Maintains timely communication with all parties and community stakeholders, as appropriate. Acts as a neutral party throughout all aspects of the investigation and ensures a prompt, fair, and impartial process for all parties. Compiles clear, concise, and comprehensive investigation reports. Maintains a high level of confidentiality during all aspects of the intake, investigation, and resolution of complaint.

Outreach and University Service:

Serves as a resource and provides education to the FSU community regarding University policies and procedures, including the Sex Discrimination and Sexual Misconduct Policy. Assists, as needed, with campus training, reporting, campus programming and outreach, and other duties as assigned. Reviews FSU Title IX-related policies and procedures and works collaboratively with the Director to make recommendations for updates and revisions in consideration of effective and promising practices. Serve on divisional and University committees as assigned. Represent Title IX Office at programs and events as needed.

Administration & Research:

Assist Title IX Director in departmental strategic planning and assessment initiatives. Assist with creating, maintaining, analyzing, and reporting statistical data. Conduct research on state and federal laws and guidance and assess applicability to current complaints. Engage in ongoing and annual professional development and training to meet federal requirements and stay current with trends and issues in the field. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma/equivalent and six years of experience. (
