Job Description:

Small company located downtown is currently seeking a ProductSpecialist with a focus on Office Furniture. Salary up to $70k and as a leading provider of office furniture,our products are well known household names. You will be working onof the most popular office furniture products worldwide! Product Specialist will be responsible for taking design fromconcept phase to completion by creating detailed product drawingsand overseeing the production and packaging.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• All new item development from the concept phase includingdevelopment of features and target cost.
• Understanding all category compliance regulations. labeling,compliance testing, determining 3rd party testing to be performedoffshore.
• Evaluation of supplier samples
• New item presentation (not to customers, to internal)
• Creation of the manual and maintenance
• Spec sheet creation and maintenance
