- The HR Assistant duties will include but will not be limited to:

- Processing new hire paperwork ||
- Ordering and tracking background checks and drug screens ||
- Assisting employees with logging into the timekeeping and payroll || systems ||
- Processing terminations ||
- Setting up new contract information in payroll system ||
- Benefit enrollments ||
- Tracking personnel actions ||
- Date entry ||
- Setting up and maintaining personnel files ||
- Answering employee questions ||
- Assisting payroll with pay issues ||
- Serving as a point of contact for employee inquiries ||
- Preparing HR reports as required ||
- Performing general administrative duties as necessary || || || ||

Job Requirements:

- Must be proficient in the operations of Microsoft Office (Word, || Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). ||
- Must have at least a High school diploma / GED or equivalent ||
- Must have at least 2 years of HR experience ||
- Must be experienced in performing routine record keeping || functions with attention to detail ||
- Must have the ability to work independently and in a team || environment ||
- Must be adept at problem-solving, including being able to || identify issues and reach resolution in a timely manner ||
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills ||
- Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally ||
- Must be able to effectively read and interpret information, || present numerical data in a resourceful manner and skillfully || gather and analyze information ||
- Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use || time efficiently ||
- Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and be able to monitor || work for quality ||
- Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, and respond to || management direction and feedback ||
- Experience with Collective Bargaining Unit and Service Contract || Act employees is preferred || || || ||
