While reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for Administrative duties focused on hourly payroll and hourly recruiting. If the HR generalist is not available, we would expect this role to be able to direct employees on how to find human resources policies, procedures, and resources. The primary focus of this position will be on hourly payroll, hourly recruiting, and support employee engagement. You must possess the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. What you’ll be doing: Preparing and complete all hourly payroll functions Reconcile and report payroll results Investigate payroll questions and issues Become local expert on Kronos Payroll System, supporting others to leverage system tools Maintain update and accurate Kronos roster. Support New Employee Orientation as needed, including assigning timecard pass codes Serving as contact with Staffing Agencies Ensuring performance evaluations are completed in a timely manner Assisting employees during the “Open Enrollment” process Verify accuracy and consistency of attendance Prepare weekly reports for management team and other reports as requested Support employee engagement and community events as requested Support recruiting efforts with direction from management Own Training System Documentation and Publishing of required training Support covid close contact tracing Create a positive first impression for all visitors This position is located in Hartselle, AL. The annual base salary range for this role is from $42,560 to $47,880.
