Human Resources Coordinator Sprinturf LLC Dadeville, AL 36853 Summary The Human Resources Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the HR department and ensuring smooth administrative operations. The position involves handling various tasks related to recruitment, employee relations, and record-keeping. As the first point of contact for employees, the HR Coordinator provides assistance, guidance, and ensures compliance with regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Recruitment, Onboarding, and Offboarding Source candidates for open positions. Conduct initial interviews. Assist with shortlisting and issuing employment offers. Conduct and coordinate background checks. Coordinate new employee orientations. Onboard new employee into company’s HRIS Complete E-Verify within 3 days of employment. Document and assist in termination proceedings. Notify payroll of final pay requirements Administrative Support Serve as local administrator of company’s Payroll/HRIS program. Maintain accurate and complete employee records. Audit and approve weekly timecards. Serve as liaison between employee and benefit administrator or carrier. Also manage non-insurance benefits such as PTO Coordinate annual open enrollment events. Assist HR Manager in reporting and documenting Workers Compensation claims as well as OSHA reporting. Performance Management Work with supervisors to conduct and document performance evaluations. Assist supervisors/management with the disciplinary process and documentation. Compliance Ensure compliance with company as well as local, state, and federal regulations. Schedule and proctor monthly safety and HR training Deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information and bring any relevant information to the attention of the HR Manager and/or Director Other Work closely with HR Manager and Director of HR. Other duties as assigned Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in field. 5+ years of experience Human Resources, preferably in the manufacturing industry. Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as employment contracts, policy/procedures, labor law documentation, safety manuals, OSHA directives and other material directly related to employment and employee relations. Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence as well as be able to speak effectively before groups of employees of the organization. Reasoning Ability Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Computer Skills Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access Other Requirements Experience with HRIS and/or Payroll Software systems Experience in Manufacturing Industry Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and TEAMS Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Other Skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
