Schedule :

Monday-Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm or 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Job Summary:

The HR Assistant provides essential support to the Human Resources team by maintaining accurate employee records, processing benefit billing, and managing leave-related communications and documentation. This role also assists with workers’ compensation, unemployment claims, and HRIS data entry to ensure compliance, data integrity, and smooth departmental operations.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate employee files, records, and documentation in compliance with company policy and regulatory requirements. Complete and audit monthly benefit billing; coordinate with vendors to resolve discrepancies. Serve as the point of contact for FMLA and other leave-related inquiries, ensuring timely communication, tracking, and documentation. Enter and update employee data in the HR system (ADP) to maintain accurate records. Assist with workers’ compensation claims and reporting, including coordinating with insurance providers and follow-up documentation. Respond to unemployment claims by gathering necessary documentation and submitting timely, accurate responses. Provide general clerical support to the HR department, including scanning, filing, and documentation preparation. Support ongoing HR projects and ensure data integrity across systems and processes.

Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
