Full Job Description Overview:
Responsible for overseeing federal and state regulatory compliance and immigration initiatives for Talent Acquisition, in Human Resources. Incumbent will manage the online Compliance Center and functions related to the new hire processing. Partners with Legal Services to support the hiring process of foreign applicants seeking sponsorship and/or visa processing for work authorization. The Coordinator will be responsible to support/process immigrant documentation, ensure HR Compliance with applicable immigration laws and other applicable Federal/State laws, and monitors applicable employee documentation and provides tracking/reporting of immigration status/renewals. Oversees compliance with federal and local employment laws. Serves as a resource regarding regulatory and compliance matters for internal and external customers.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
: BS degree in Human Resources or related field is required. Minimum of three years of Human Resource or related field experience, with demonstrated success in managing time sensitive data. The ideal candidate will be able maintain, track, and report on sensitive data to both internal and external customers, in a timely matter. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to provide a broad vision and build consensus among teams. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite of computer programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint.) Prior recruitment or related HR experience and knowledge of HR systems (PeopleSoft) strongly preferred.
