The Senior Administrative Specialist assists the Executive Director with the day-to-day operations of our Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care community. As a hands-on collaborative Senior Administrative Specialist in a vibrant community, you will be responsible for creating and supporting a high level of resident and employee satisfaction while completing various operational assignments and projects. Prior experience in Healthcare Operations is required. Supported by your Executive Director along with our experienced Regional and Corporate teams, you’ll help cultivate a culture of collaboration and excellence. YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists the Executive Director by Reviewing Resident Statements Assists the Executive Director by making initial collection calls for delinquent accounts Processes the monthly Long Term Care Claims Assists the Executive Director in responding to customer relation issues with residents and/or family members. Will work with fellow Admin Team members to address/resolve the issue Oversees the Quality Assurance program. Will make weekly rounds with managers and, will maintain documentation Supports employee relations at the community working collaboratively with managers Supports the management team by assisting in the following activities: Supporting compliance with regulations, policies and procedures Maintaining regular and consistent communication between community management and front line employees Reviewing operational functions and decisions with the Executive Director to support budgetary compliance Ensuring adequate staffing through the review of employee schedules and participating in the interview process as needed Building positive employee relationships through fair and consistent application of company policies Participating in the implementation of ongoing employee appreciation and recognition programs Assisting with employee training program compliance Encourage quality of service continuity and consistency for high resident satisfaction
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR or Operations functional experience Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English Proven organization, time management and attention to detail skills Strong customer service orientation Ability to work flexible schedules in a 24 hour operation Must be technologically adaptable, with the ability to quickly learn and effectively use software and computer systems relevant to this position Must be comfortable learning and adapting to new software tools and platforms as required Requires availability for 24/7 on-call support, including prompt responsiveness to urgent situations while ensuring operational needs are met Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community Must successfully complete based on state and company requirements: TB skin test or chest x-ray State fingerprint and FBI background check Health screening for this position Basic First Aid training Drug test Please note that the above Responsibilities and Qualifications provide a general overview of the primary duties for this role and the basic qualifications.
