Risk Management Assistant Schedule:
Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Pay rate:
$20.00 – $25.00 per hour, based on experience.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and organized individual to assist our Human Resources and Risk Management Department. The ideal candidate will support various HR functions, with a primary focus on recruitment, as well as assist in managing risk-related tasks. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Support:
Assist with posting job openings on various platforms (internal job boards, job boards, social media, etc.). Review incoming resumes and applications, screening candidates for initial qualifications. Coordinate interviews between hiring managers and candidates. Communicate with candidates regarding their application status, interview scheduling, and other inquiries. Assist in conducting reference checks and background screenings. Maintain recruitment database and track candidate progress.
HR and Risk Management Assistance:
Help maintain employee records, ensuring that all documents are accurate and up-to-date. Assist with onboarding processes for new employees, including preparing orientation materials. Assist with the preparation of HR reports and risk management documentation. Support the HR department in addressing employee relations matters. Assist with various HR and risk management compliance tasks. Assist with worker’s compensation claims, safety audits, and risk assessments.
General Office Support:
Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Perform other administrative tasks as needed, such as filing, data entry, and scheduling meetings. Provide general clerical support to the HR and Risk Management teams as required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s Degree or HR-related certifications preferred). Previous experience in human resources or recruitment is preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive information. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitude.
