Position Summary The HR Services Specialist is an energetic, process-oriented, and people-focused team member who oversees and administers HR service functions while fostering positive and engaging employee experiences. In this role, your responsibilities will include providing first-line HR support and guidance to employees, payroll processing, benefits and leave administration, managing

systems, assisting with recruitment, overseeing compliance requirements, coordinating onboarding/offboarding processes, creating Standard Operating Procedures, and identifying opportunities for improvement. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, with excellent organizational skills and a passion for helping others, combining HR service expertise with genuine care for building a supportive and engaging work culture. Duties & Responsibilities Serve as the primary HR contact for employees, ensuring exceptional support and a positive experience throughout all interactions. Manage employee benefits programs—including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, and disability coverage—and coordinate annual open enrollment and leave administration. Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and training new managers on the applicant tracking system. Identify and implement continuous improvements in the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires from job posting to their first day. Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding, conducting orientation sessions, and exit interviews to gather feedback. Maintain HR operations and compliance through accurate payroll processing, employee record management, and HRIS administration. Build expertise in HR systems to enhance workflows and improve processes through automation. Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and efficient processes. Perform monthly audits of HRIS and employee records to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Build and maintain thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures to effectively guide employees. Work with the HR team to streamline processes, implement solutions, and resolve complex issues. Champion employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive work environment. Stay up-to-date with HR industry trends, regulations, and best practices through continuous learning. Perform other duties as assigned.
