Currently, we a looking for a Human Resource Coordinator to join our team. Position Summary The Human Resource Coordinator assist with managing the day-to day operation of the facility HR department. Responsible for managing the human resources functions which includes employee relations, benefits and recruiting.
Essential Duties:
Post open positions and assist with candidate recruiting and onboarding as required by the department’s directors and Administrator. Facilitate the completion of new hire paperwork and report information to Home Office Human Resources. Submit new hire information, payroll changes, and status changes timely for processing. Create and maintain personnel files for all associates according to company guidelines. Maintain confidentiality of files and file information at all times Correct time exceptions in time and attendance software. Run standard reports as needed in payroll system. Generate payroll and distribute paychecks according to company guidelines. Verifies license and misconduct registry for candidates under consideration. Report leaves information and work-related injuries and ensure injured associates are provided information to obtain proper treatment Assist with internal and external communication processes, such as letter memos and documents. Assist with conducting human resources audits and records maintenances as required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization. Work with other members of the management team to market and manage the community. Perform administrative functions in support of the facility’s management. Partner with department heads to ensure staff is accountable for compliance with all applicable policies and procedures. Accountable for managing the labor management system to include management of overtime, open position, hours of labor. Develop and execute a plan for facility leadership to address any labor management system variances to restore compliance. Handle workplace investigations related to HR matters. Monitor consistent application of policies and procedures and notifying management of areas of compliance risks (such as untimely disciplinary actions). Create an action plan and assist with execution to mitigate the risk of noncompliance. Serves as the liaison between the employee and the Leave of Absence procedure. Oversight of employment related regulatory matters, such as EEOC Department of Labor, I-9, WOTC, unemployment compensation. Responds to employee questions regarding human resources policies and procedures. Coordinates and monitors the completion of all required forms for new employees. Maintains OSHA record-keeping and reporting requirements for work-related employee injuries. Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
High School diploma general education degree (GED) required Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 1 or more years HR experience is preferred. Three years’ experience in administrative role with one or more years’ experience working in a Human Resources capacity within a field office or HR department Advance computer and Microsoft Office experience with ability to create reports Familiarity with payroll and time and attendance systems Organization, time management, problem solving/resolution, and decision making Experience with an HRIS programs preferred Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism Strong organization skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple task
