Description
The Staffing Assistant role is a position that primarily provides support to Clinical Resources and is responsible for coordinating staffing throughout the nursing units.
When in the Staffing Assistant, the incumbent will contact each nursing unit’s Charge Nurse to identify staffing needs and will assign pool/SST and floor team members to areas in need. May handle sensitive information and is always expected to maintain confidentiality. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Qualifications
High school graduate or GED.
Prefer two years clerical or administrative support experience and computer literacy.
