position About the
Role:
UF Resources is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Corporate and HR Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this key role, you will support the HR department and recruiters with all aspects of onboarding and offboarding new Independent Contractors, assist with talent sourcing, and provide essential administrative support to the HR team. You will also collaborate with other departments to help maintain consistent workflow and support business operations, offering opportunities for both personal and professional growth. Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
Onboarding:
Coordinate the onboarding process for W2 and 1099 Independent Contractors, including conducting background checks, preparing and sending onboarding materials, and ensuring timely and accurate completion of all paperwork. Report background check findings to HR.
Talent Acquisition:
Support the recruitment process for W-2 employees by posting approved job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews. Communicate with candidates to provide updates on their application status. Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates, ensuring all necessary documentation is in place. Manage and maintain candidate data in the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring accuracy and up-to-date records. Serve as a point of contact for candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
Offboarding:
Complete the administrative process and communication for offboarding, including facilitation of exit interviews when applicable.
Other Duties:
Monitor attendance and daily reporting (HR Hotline). Weekly payroll hours and benefit reporting. Time off scheduling and reporting. Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, such as filing, organizing paperwork, and managing electronic documents.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 1-2 years of experience in recruiting, onboarding, or related administrative work. Knowledge of HR policies and practices, recruitment processes, and employment law. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. Proficient in MS Office; experience using an ATS is preferred.
