Full Job Description Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our Human Resources team in delivering exceptional HR services. This role will involve assisting the HR Manager with various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee record management, training coordination, compliance, and day-to-day HR administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and maintaining the applicant tracking system. Support the onboarding and orientation processes to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
Employee Record Management:
Maintain and update employee records, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
Training and Development:
Assist in coordinating employee training programs and development initiatives to support continuous growth and skills enhancement.
Employee Inquiries:
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing support and directing them to the appropriate resources when needed.
Audit Compliance:
Support the HR team in ensuring compliance with internal audits, preparing necessary documentation, and tracking compliance-related issues.
Employee Benefits and Compliance:
Assist with the administration and record-keeping of employee benefits programs, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records. Provide support to ensure adherence to relevant compliance regulations.
HR Policy Updates:
Help monitor and update HR policies to ensure they align with legal and organizational standards.
Administrative Support:
Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including preparing reports, maintaining files, and assisting with ad-hoc HR tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred. Previous HR or administrative experience is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with HR software and applicant tracking systems (preferred).
