HR Assistant Responsible for assisting in the day-to-day Human Resources area, providing administrative support to the human resources department. Assist with recruitment, reporting, record maintenance, and processing of temporary, hourly and salary payroll processing.
Job Responsibilities:
Assists with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties. Recruitment and Onboarding Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources and management team. Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies). Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, policies, benefits, and attendance. Employee Relations Process payroll by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc.) Plan, coordinate and conduct employee new hire orientation and assign photo id badges. Build relationships with external staffing agencies to recruit for hourly roles. Preparing and running data-driven reports, weekly, monthly, and quarterly. Enters purchase orders in IQMS to purchase employee uniforms, stocks uniforms, and distributes to new hires Serves on the Employee Activities Committee Job Requirements/ Experience Requirements High School Diploma 3+ years of experience in Human Resources. Must be able to maintain a high standard of confidentiality and high levels of discretion and sensitivity. Proficiency and experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and familiarity with HR software. Excellent communication skills written, verbal, and interpersonal. Excellent organizational skills. Process-driven; proven analytic and problem-solving abilities. Able to work autonomously and in team environment IND-PGH
