HR Administrator 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars 801 Us Highway 1, North Palm Beach, FL 33408 The HR Administrator works closely with the HR team to ensure that IES adheres to all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and is responsible for carrying out day-to-day tasks, such as maintaining paperwork, managing documents and employee records, and benefit administration. This position also supports the company with review of background checks to determine eligibility to hire.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
General Administration Provides clerical support to the HR department- opens, reviews, and distributes company-wide mail. Maintains employee records, updates databases, and generates reports. Reviews and completes WOTC forms and submits to accounting department. Utilizes HR software and databases to input, update, and retrieve employee data. Performs other duties as assigned. Compliance Responds to requests for employment verifications, certificates of insurance, subpoena records and unemployment. Performs compliance training audits for internal and contingent staff. Ensures required labor law notices are updated annually on our website and keeps records of when new labor posters are required. Provides support to client delivery and HR for collection and organization of audit packages and document collection for agency requests and subpoena responses. May involve some coordination with corporate counsel for review and authorizations. Reviews education verifications for workers against client requirements. Communicate with applicants to collect missing information. Report to client delivery and/or to HR on status. Reviews criminal backgrounds for applicants to determine if eligible for employment with IES per client requirements. Follows adverse action process, communicates adverse action notices to applicants, and updates clients on status.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
General understanding of HR principles. Reconciliation of financial data using reporting and Excel, preferably experience with benefit reconciliation. Experience working with confidential and sensitive information and situations. Experience with handling multiple projects, coordinating through multiple priorities and workflows, meeting deadlines with autonomy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience working in HRIS and databases. 20 hours per week – Monday through Friday.
