Human Resources (HR) Assistant
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant for a part-time opportunity on a contract basis in Oviedo, Florida. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing the recruitment and onboarding process for about 30 drivers during busy season. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for high-volume recruiting.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough background checks, including reference verification and driving record reviews, to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Facilitate onboarding processes by assisting with new employee paperwork, conducting onboarding sessions, and ensuring all documentation is accurately completed and filed.
  • Provide administrative support by tracking recruitment progress through Excel or Google Sheets and maintaining precise and up-to-date records.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling and support virtual interviews using tools like Google Meet.
  • Source and attract candidates with relevant experience through various platforms, including Indeed, to meet high-volume recruitment needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant recruitment policies and procedures, maintaining a focus on accuracy and detail.
  • Assist in resolving any administrative or compliance-related issues that arise during the recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Proven experience in HR or recruiting, with a preference for high-volume hiring in regulated industries.
  • Proficiency in using Excel, Google Sheets, and Indeed for recruitment and tracking purposes.
  • Familiarity with hosting virtual interviews through platforms such as Google Meet.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with candidates and team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements and industry regulations related to recruitment and hiring.
