Job Description Carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: timecard processing, onboarding, medical form processing (FMLA/STD), etc. Provides HR support within the organization by handling a variety of tasks with changing priorities. Maintains confidentiality regarding sensitive information.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Organize and maintain personnel records
Update timecards (documents with call-offs, and leaves)
Prepares HR documents
Liaise with staffing agencies
Answer employees’ queries about HR-related issues (FMLA, WC, Policies, Attendance)
Conducts New Hire Orientation, including tours, locker assignments, badges, and paperwork.
Responsible for full employee life cycle
Ability to understand and explain employee benefits (Medical, HSA, FSA, Dental, Vision, 401K) Maintains HRIS database and department records. Performs data entry utilizing specific departmental databases and procedures.
Conducts timecard processing.
Generates employee reimbursements for company allowances and tuition reimbursements.
Enter new employees into all necessary electronic filing folders.
Maintain and recordkeeper of all LOA (FMLA, STD)
Conduct Leave and Stay interviews Provides HR support. Assists in coordinating employee celebration activities.
Generates packets for new hire orientation classes.
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Identifies and suggests improvements to HR work and departmental methods and procedures.
Participates in ongoing development, communication and implementation of team concepts, programs and policies.
Coordinates work to ensure best practices with all team members.
Accepts responsibility to quickly identify any areas of lack of cohesiveness, bringing them to the attention of the HR leader and working with the team in a supportive manner to resolve issues affecting cohesiveness. Maintains confidentiality for all departmental efforts and tasks.
