Human Resources Associate, HRIS & Benefits Coordinator 2.7 2.7 out of 5 stars Register, GA 30452 We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Associates- HRIS & Benefits Coordinator to join our dynamic HR team. This role plays a critical part in supporting our employees and managers across a wide range of HR functions, with a strong focus on benefits administration, HR systems, and employee support. The ideal candidate will bring a comprehensive understanding of HR practices, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to maintaining compliance and fostering a positive workplace environment. As a key member of the Human Resources Department, you will serve as a primary point of contact for benefits-related inquiries, support onboarding and payroll processes, and assist with employee relations and training coordination. Your ability to manage sensitive information with discretion, maintain accurate HR records, and stay current on labor laws will be essential to your success in this role. This position is well-suited for a proactive HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to the growth and development of both the team and the organization.
Responsibilities:
Supports the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization. Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances. Primary contact for all benefits related questions and processes. Provide guidance and support to managers relating to benefits questions and employee status of leave. Provide support as needed for employee relations including investigations and complaints and facilitate solutions in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Support the maintenance of employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data protection regulations. Specific process ownership to be determined based on business and team needs. Serve as back up to prepare and process payroll, attendance and other administrative tasks as assigned. Primary contact for all employee benefits administration, including insurance, 401k, FMLA, Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability Stay updated on labor laws and regulations relevant to the automotive manufacturing industry. Collaborate with department heads and employees to liaison with training department on formalized training for disciplinary actions, succession planning, and other necessary trainings determined by HR and facility. Assist with recruitment needs as necessary. Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and seminars, both internally and externally ensuring accurate communication and understanding with follow-up as necessary. Assist in the Training Department’s consistently engaging in effective communication of
HRIS, HR
policies, procedures, and initiatives. Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and industry standards. Assist in the implementation of health and safety initiatives to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
5+ years experience in Benefits coordination, Payroll, Employee Engagement, Training, and/or Human Resources Generalist, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience as an HR Generalist, HR Payroll Administrator, or HR Specialist, preferably within the automotive manufacturing industry. Effective communication in English (Korean a plus, but not required.) Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Proficiency in HRIS (
Human Resources Information Systems, IE:
UKG, Paycom, SAP, ADP, etc) and MS Office Suite. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization.
