Duties require the exercise of courtesy in speaking with hospital staff, visitors, and others to maintain sound public relations.

RIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for providing the hospital’s response to Georgia Department of Labor Unemployment Claims and other related requests. Performs typing, data entry and other clerical duties such as filing, logging disciplinary, grievance/complaint data. Assists Manager with data collection and preparation of reports related to the Employee Relations function. Assists Manager with the preparation of documents and other responses related to employee grievances, EEOC and other litigation activities. Responsible for call intake and referral. Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Immediately reports any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or employee/patient/visitor injury‑accident to Coordinator. All other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED

Typing requirements vary by department see requisition for requirements. One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in an administrative setting. Associates degree in Business Administration or related field.

PREFERRED

Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and software applications.
