Our mission is to create lasting, positive change by applying evidence-based practices that enhance communication, social skills, daily living abilities, and emotional regulation. At our center, children receive individualized, one-on-one therapy designed to meet their unique needs. We collaborate closely with families to ensure that interventions are effective and sustainable, fostering an environment where children can thrive and families feel supported. We are currently seeking dedicated professionals to join our team and contribute to our mission of making a positive impact in the lives of children and families in Northwest Georgia. Summary We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at May Behavioral Services. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing HR functions and supporting our staff, contributing to our mission of delivering quality behavioral health services. This position is essential for fostering a positive work environment and ensuring compliance with HR policies. Responsibilities Coordinate employee orientation and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires. Manage HR sourcing efforts to attract top talent for various positions. Assist in the administration of FMLA and other leave programs, ensuring compliance with regulations. Utilize ATS systems to track applicants and streamline the hiring process. Support strategic planning initiatives within the HR department to enhance organizational effectiveness. Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, including Kronos, SAP, PeopleSoft, and Oracle systems.

Requirements Education & Experience:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (required or preferred depending on level).

Skills:

Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Familiarity with labor laws and HR compliance standards (state and federal). Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualities:

Problem-solving mindset and a proactive attitude. Team-oriented with a customer-service approach. Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or a similar setting is a plus. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus, especially in diverse communities. 1-3 years of experience in human resources, administration, or a similar support role. Experience with HRIS systems and knowledge of HR best practices is a plus.
