Job Description

The Leave & Wellness Administrator is responsible for assisting with the administration of all benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability. The Leave & Wellness Administrator handles all tier 2 customer service issues and administers the companies FMLA/leave policies. Duties/ResponsibilitiesHandles all tier 2 issues of customer service for team members and HR managers, in a timely and professionalmannerAdministers FMLA/ Personal Leave of Absences, Paid Parental Leaves and manage team member leaves inUNUMSends Leave of Absences premium letters, reviews monthly eligibility files and audit for errorsReviews weekly Unum Paid Pregnancy Disability Leave reports for program complianceReviews weekly no Pay Reports and weekly Workers Compensation reports.

Works with vendors to resolve escalated issues for our employees.

Assures integrity of Health & Welfare and Retirement elections data in the benefit admin systemProvides back up support to Benefit Specialist III and Benefits ManagerPerforms other related duties to benefit the mission/vision of the organization Education & Experience5+ years’ experience in HR and/or benefits administrationBachelor’s degree in human resources or related field of study preferredAbility to perform under limited supervisionExtensive knowledge of employee benefits and applicable lawsExcellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organizational and time management skillsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
