About the Job The Human Resources Administrative Assistant provides administrative and clerical support for the Human Resources Department as well as performs front office receptionist duties for Hardware Resources’ Bossier office. The ideal candidate is motivated, with a strong mix of organizational and customer service (our employees are our customers!) as well as a desire to learn and grow their career in Human Resources. Success in the position will depend on strong organizational skills, effective communication, attention to detail, a friendly attitude, and relationship building sills. This person will be the first point of contact for employees and visitors, so excellent customer service and a willingness to be helpful is paramount. Key Duties and Responsibilities Perform reception duties including greeting visitors, vendors, customers and applicants. Work closely with HR and Plant management, to coordinate interviews of potential candidates. Handle all walk-in applicants, ensuring they receive applications and testing when appropriate. Assist employees in resolving basic issues and concerns and forwarding to other HR Team members as appropriate File and ensure employee personnel files are kept current Assist with planning and setup of Quarterly luncheons (setup, food, clean up) and assists in the preparation and setup of Employee events, monthly anniversary and birthday celebrations Maintain petty cash box for Bossier City, reconciling monthly for Finance and Accounting Assist in tracking Bossier City plant attendance Ensure campus break areas have needed supplies and coordinate orders with purchasing Assist with travel reservations including flight and hotel accommodations for HR Team as needed Perform all other duties as assigned and deemed appropriate Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail Education, Employment Experience, and Qualifications High school diploma; Associate’s degree or equivalent experience desired 1-3 years of office administrative experience required Valid driver’s license Ability and willingness to learn and grow personal and professional skills Physical Demands/ Environment
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
