Human Resources Coordinator Confidential Alexandria, LA 71315 Are you passionate about supporting employees and ensuring smooth HR and payroll operations? A respected long-term care facility is currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator with payroll experience to join our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities Interpret and apply Human Resources policies and procedures related to: Recruitment and selection Training and onboarding Discipline and termination Collaborate with department managers to assess training needs and ensure proper employee orientation. Guide supervisors through disciplinary procedures and employee counseling, maintaining compliance with employment laws. Support employees and management in understanding and navigating benefits; assist with open enrollment, benefit analysis, and compliance. Provide guidance on HR policies during in-services and staff meetings as needed. Ensure timely and accurate completion of State and Federal reports including: Workers’ Compensation

Process bi-weekly payroll with accuracy and confidentiality. Qualifications Associate’s Degree or equivalent professional HR experience. Minimum 1 year of Human Resources experience , preferably in healthcare or long-term care. Strong knowledge of State and Federal labor laws , particularly those related to healthcare workers. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Patient, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality. Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
