JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Human Resources Coordinator provides support to the overall Human Resources function and will work directly with the HR Generalist and report to the Director of
HR. SCOPE OF DUTIES
The duties of the Human Resources Coordinator shall include, but are not necessarily limited to the following: Responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day Human Resources functions including new hire onboarding activity, employment change processing, employee file maintenance, and coordination of special projects and events. Performs a wide range of administrative duties which require accuracy, and at times, discretion and strict confidentiality. Assists in creating and revising job descriptions for new and existing positions. Provides support in assisting employees and the management team with the understanding and application of human resources related policies and procedures. Maintains employment records through computer entry and file upkeep. Assists with employee data in Human Resources and Payroll databases. Assists with implementing the company’s drug and alcohol testing program. Possesses the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented and customer service-focused work environment. Works independently as well collaboratively towards team and organizational goals and demonstrates good judgment with excellent follow through. Establishes appropriate fleet service and staffing levels; monitors and evaluates resources and procedures; allocates resources accordingly. Keeps abreast in understanding industry practices and trends in HR. Complies with all state and federal regulations. All other HR related projects as directed by management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in a Business or Human Resources-related field preferred.
Experience:
Two (2) or more years of relevant experience in an office environment required with experience working in the Oil and Gas industry preferred.
Skills:
Working knowledge in various areas of Human Resources. Must have proficiency in general computer skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, ensure confidentiality, and work with minimal supervision. Ability to interact respectfully and comfortably with all individuals in a diverse, multicultural environment. Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Strong attention-to-detail, troubleshooting and critical thinking skills required. Ability to get along well with others.

DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Eyesight:
Functional, correctable to 20/20
Hearing:
Functional, correctable to normal to perceive sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction; Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication.
Speech:
Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word.
Mobility:
Unencumbered by physical limitations to perform the following activities: sedentary work in an office environment that includes frequent sitting, occasional standing and walking, gross and fine motor dexterity for typing and reasonable lifting of office products up to 10 lbs.
HOURS OF WORK
Standard office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am until 5:00pm and may be adjusted with approval by the department supervisor. Some overtime, work related travel and weekend work may be required, subject to company operational requirements. Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Rotation schedule may vary and is subject to change based on vessel requirements.
