This full-time, on-site position runs Sunday through Thursday and is responsible for driving a smooth and positive employee experience through effective onboarding, payroll processing, team engagement, and administrative support. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining an organized, compliant, and team-focused workplace in a fast-paced environment where people come first.
Responsibilities :
Onboarding & Team Experience:
Lead new hire orientations to ensure seamless onboarding and understanding of company practices Coordinate 30/60/90-day check-ins to support employee success and retention Manage badge access for employees and visitors Maintain cleanliness and organization in team member areas in alignment with company standards Ensure compliance postings and communication boards are accurate and up to date Support employee engagement activities and local recognition programs Act as a point of contact for general employee inquiries and direct them to the appropriate internal resources Assist in converting temporary staff into permanent employees
Payroll & HR Administration:
Process weekly payroll accurately and in compliance with state and federal laws Liaise between the site and centralized payroll services to resolve issues and ensure accuracy Maintain confidential and organized personnel files and documentation Oversee document storage, retention, and third-party vendor pickups
General Administrative Support:
Order and manage supplies using internal systems Support cross-functional tasks and departments as needed Maintain reliable attendance and flexibility for operational needs Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in HR, preferably in a distribution or supply chain environment Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) Familiarity with HRIS and payroll platforms Bilingual language skills are a plus Ability to thrive in a warehouse setting and adapt to variable conditions (cold/freezer temperatures, noise, dust) Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, or overtime when needed Physical capability to lift up to 25 lbs. and wear necessary PPE (steel-toe shoes, gloves, etc.) Join our team as a HR Coordinator where your contributions will make a significant impact on our operations and employee experience! #RI123
