HR Assistant Endeavor:
Wyndham Executive Center Columbia, MO 65203 Endeavor Hotel Group, LLC is currently seeking a motivated individual to join their team as the Human Resource Assistant for the Wyndham Executive Center, located in Columbia, Missouri! The Human Resource Assistant is responsible for serving in a supportive capacity to the Human Resource Director and is responsible for providing essential support to the management team in various HR administrative and operational tasks. The role involves ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of HR processes, maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and contributing to a positive employee experience. The HR Assistant will assist with hiring processes, provide regular updates, manage offboarding, and handle administrative tasks to ensure all HR functions are well-organized and compliant.
Specific job responsibilities include:
Serves as the first point of contact for general HR-related inquiries from employees. Responds to questions or requests promptly with a high degree of employee focused support. Escalates questions/concerns to the HR Director as appropriate. Creates internal and external job postings and publishes to third-party HR. collaborate with hiring managers as needed throughout the recruiting process. Schedule interviews and coordinate with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process. Communicate interview details and logistics to candidates and managers. Supports the hiring process by managing administrative tasks related to recruitment. Collaborate with various departments to facilitate smooth onboarding for new employees. Prepare and distribute onboarding materials. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and HR databases. Ensure compliance with record-keeping requirements and confidentiality standards. Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining office supplies. Assists HR Director with the maintenance of job descriptions; tracks and assigns new hire performance appraisals and assists with the annual performance evaluation process. Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by leadership. Various other duties as assigned by management. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications: High school diploma or experience in a related field B.A. degree in Human Resource, Business Administration or a related field preferred 2+ years experience in HR roles, preferably in the hospitality/service industry. Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws is a plus.
