HRIS Administrator Ultimate Staffing is seeking a HRIS Administrator for our St Louis client. This is a direct hire onsite role Salary $90,000-115,000

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HRIS Administrator to join our Human Resources team. This role is responsible for managing and optimizing our Human Resources Information System (HRIS), ensuring accurate and efficient processing of payroll, benefits, and employee data. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in HR systems, payroll processing, and benefits administration, along with experience supervising or managing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary administrator of the HRIS system, maintaining data integrity and ensuring efficient workflows across all HR functions
Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and open enrollment coordination
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to support audits, compliance reporting, and data analysis
Lead or supervise HR support staff involved in data entry, employee support, or system-related tasks
Develop and maintain system configurations, reporting dashboards, coding, file feeds, and process documentation
Provide end-user support, training, and troubleshooting for HRIS and related systems
Participate in system upgrades, implementations, and integrations to improve functionality and user experience
Ensure confidentiality and security of employee records and sensitive data

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
3+ years of experience working in HRIS administration, with strong knowledge of payroll and benefits processes
Experience supervising staff or leading HR operational functions
Proficiency in common HRIS platforms (e.g., UKG, ADP, Workday, Paycom, Ceridian, etc.)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate reports and provide insights to leadership
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality

Preferred Skills:

Experience in system implementation or process improvement initiatives
Familiarity with compliance requirements (FLSA, ACA, HIPAA, etc.)
