We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Human Resources Administrative Assistant to support our in-office Human Resources operations in St. Louis. This part-time position is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced professional environment, enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure accuracy and organization, and brings a strong sense of ownership to their work. Under the supervision of the Human Resources Operations Director, the Human Resources Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Human Resources team and ensures seamless coordination of key functions, including employee records, expense processing, and onboarding logistics. This role plays a critical part in delivering accurate, high-quality support that strengthens the experience of all attorneys and staff at the Firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Drafts and prepares Human Resources-related correspondence, including offer letters, onboarding/offboarding documents, and verification letters. Provides administrative support to Human Resources leadership, including reports, presentations, expense tracking, and budget support. Schedules appointments and coordinates department calendars and meetings. Maintains electronic personnel files and audits employee records for completeness and compliance. Prepares welcome materials for new hires and distributes accordingly. Processes department expenses and invoices; generates travel and reimbursement reports. Assists with preparing presentations and ad-hoc projects as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); ability to learn new technologies. Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and commitment to high-quality work. Positive, collaborative attitude and ability to exercise sound judgment. Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information. Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust to shifting priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Education and Experience Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. At least one year of administrative experience required; prior experience in Human Resources or professional services preferred.
