We’re known for high service standards, strong team culture, and our commitment to the beautiful region we call home. We’re currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented administrative assistant to support our Accounting and Human Resources teams. This is an ideal role for someone with strong organizational skills who is eager to grow their skillset. Position Summary This administrative role is a key part of our back office team. You’ll begin by providing vital support to our bookkeeping and HR duties — organizing documents, updating spreadsheets, managing communication, and assisting with payroll and benefits. We will also train you in more advanced HR functions, like onboarding, compliance, and employee relations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dependable and experienced administrative professional who wants to expand their skills.
Examples of Key Responsibilities:
HR & Admin Tasks (On-theJob Training Provided): Assist with employee benefits (health, retirement, life, etc.) tracking and updates Maintain digital and physical employee files and documents Help post job openings, screen applications, and schedule interviews Support onboarding and offboarding processes Track PTO, update payroll systems (ADP), and assist with HR audits Prepare basic reports, communications, and forms as needed
Accounting Support Tasks:
Coordinate mail and banking deposits (local errands required) Help track property insurance, utility billing, and vendor communication Support custom reporting and reconciliation tasks as assigned Assist with reservation accounting updates, billing follow-up, and audit prep Qualifications 2+ years administrative or office support experience (HR or accounting exposure a plus) Excellent attention to detail and task follow-through Strong communication and problem-solving skills Proficient with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail); ADP, Basecamp, or Track PMS a plus High level of discretion with confidential information Self-starter with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn Additional Info Full-time (30+ hours) Must be located in Asheville, NC or nearby (position is in-person and not eligible for remote) Occasional local errands required (mileage reimbursed) Our pay structure is: $16/hour for training, $17/hour for first year following training, $18/hour for second year, $19/hour for 3+ years.
