Description of Work Julian F Keith Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment Center (JFK-ADATC) in Black Mountain, North Carolina. is recruiting for a Salary Administrator. Position provides management with guidance in the areas of salary administration and facility organizational management. This position provides innovative approaches in setting salaries that are competitive and aligned to

policies and procedures. The Salary Administrator performs detailed salary review and completes compensation and organizational management actions. Position will review and recommend salary actions considering qualifying education and experience, equity, and availability of funds. Position interprets policies regarding eligibility for salary adjustments/increases, overtime/compensatory time issues, maintains position eligibility controls, and various other policy pay issues. Position is responsible for tracking via Smartsheet, and regular communication via multiple methods with internal and external customers, and accurate payroll processing, Position will audit actions, monthly payroll, and investigate/resolve payroll errors to reach positive outcomes. The position may assist the department with recruitment, onboarding, and HR Generalist tasks. The role will foster a collaborative relationship with Central HR functional teams to drive optimization of HR initiatives and deliverables. JFK is a 68-bed inpatient treatment facility designed to meet the needs of adults with substance use disorders from the 44 westernmost counties in North Carolina. The facility treats individuals with substance abuse and psychiatric diagnoses. JFK is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations as a Behavioral Health facility and certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services as an inpatient psychiatric hospital Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies To receive credit for all of your work history and credentials, you must list the information on the application form. Management Preferences (if applicable): Salary Administration experience with NC State Government. Experience using NeoGov, Smart Sheet, and Integrated HR-Payroll System. Experience processing personnel and organizational actions in SAP/Fiori. Experience generating and analyzing data and preparing requests and reports.
