Position Summary:

The Benefits Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the group benefit programs, such as medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, FMLA, and voluntary plans. The candidate will coordinate benefit programs and assist in the administration of benefits to all shareowners.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

Enter enrollment/termination information into all benefit systems.
Maintain deductions in payroll system.
Assist employees with changes or questions regarding insurance benefits.
Monthly reconciliation of insurance billing.
Submit out-of-network claims on behalf of employees as needed.
Handle weekly short-term disability claims, checks, and reports.
Organize annual open-enrollment and Guaranteed Increase in Benefits offers.
Complete annual 1095 reporting.
Maintain files and records.
Promote a culture of approachability and support for all shareowners.
Support the HR team in other related functions as needed.

Requirements:

Knowledge of HR processes and benefits information.
Demonstrate professional composure and communication skills.
Must have strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and adaptability to new systems.
Must be proactive and self-motivated, with good follow-through to completion.
Strong attention to detail required.
Proven ability to remain confidential with sensitive information.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, including sitting, standing walking and driving.
Must be able to lift 25lbs.
When representing the company at community events, will be required to wear proper company branded apparel.
