The Role at a Glance
As an Executive Administrative Assistant, Talent & Employee Experience, you will provide high-level administrative and organizational support to the SVP, People and Organizational Development and additional members of the team, while facilitating the operations of HR functions, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring timely coordination of HR initiatives, communications and processes.
What you’ll be doing
Managing assigned CLG (Corporate Leadership Group) member’s calendar and scheduling meetings, conferences and appointments, including managing availability and commitments to ensure clear priorities and optimum use of time.
Preparing assigned CLG member for meetings by creating, gathering, and/or organizing material, identifying key questions to be prepared to answer and preparing reference material in an effective structure.
Furnishing and obtaining information, preparing correspondence, memorandum and documents from other CLG members and/or external stakeholders which may be confidential in nature.
Preparing and/or proofreading complex reports and presentations including preparing special reports through conducting research to add value to material and/or gathering and summarizing information and/or data.
Greeting and directing CLG member’s visitors and acting as primary resource for internal and external contacts, facilitating a professional image of Lincoln Financial.
Arranging and coordinating assigned CLG member’s travel including preparing itineraries.
Entering assigned CLG member’s expenses reports into appropriate systems.
Planning, organizing, and facilitating special projects requested by assigned CLG member.
Planning and coordinating special events for the Talent and Employee Experience team as needed.
Providing broader executive administrative support to Lincoln’s Charlotte, NC, office leadership, as may be needed, as part of larger Charlotte-based team, planning on-site activity coordination role as necessary.
Sorting, reviewing, and distributing assigned CLG member’s mail.
Processing invoices for prompt payment as needed.
Ordering supplies and coordinating routine maintenance and repairs to office equipment as needed.
What we’re looking for
Undergraduate degree preferred.
3 – 5+ Years of clerical and/or administrative or HR/HR support experience in a complex corporate environment supporting senior and/or executive management aligned with the responsibilities for this position. (Required)
Strong excel, reporting and power point skills required.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with the most highly sensitive information.
Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills.
Strong problem-solving skills with strong ability to get things done.
Energetic, responsive team player interested in taking initiative and working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work overtime if needed.

The pay range for this position is $35.87 – $47.83 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
