  • What You Will Do
  • – JOB SUMMARY The People & Culture (P&C) Factory Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the P&C department by assisting with various functions such as employee engagement, new hire processes, benefits administration, and event planning.

YOU WILL DO

  • Onboarding & New Hire Support:
  • + Develop and conduct orientation programs for new hourly employees to ensure smooth onboarding. + Assist new hires throughout the onboarding process, ensuring they receive all necessary information and support. + Prepare and distribute new hire reports, packets, and other onboarding materials. + Administer pre-employment testing to ensure candidates meet job requirements. +
  • Employee Engagement & Recognition:
  • + Plan and implement employee engagement initiatives and innovative strategies to enhance morale and productivity.

+ Organize employee events, recognition programs, and rewards for achievements, including perfect attendance and other milestones. + Serve as the first point of contact for employees regarding P&C inquiries, addressing basic concerns and providing guidance. + Send out new hire memos, job alternate awards, and permanent job awards. +

  • HR Administration & Reporting:
  • + Post overtime reports and assist in managing other HR-related documentation for the plant. + Run and manage birthday and anniversary reports, ensuring slides are posted on office monitors for employee recognition. + Update and maintain mail room access and enter new users for access to supplies. +
  • Vendor & Budget Coordination:
  • + Collaborate with external vendors and internal management to obtain quotes and negotiate the best pricing for employee-related events and plant needs. +
  • General P&C Support:
  • + Provide administrative support across all aspects of the HR department, including employment, benefits, and employee engagement. + Foster a positive and supportive work environment by addressing concerns and helping employees feel valued. + Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications
  • – REQUIRED
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and experience: + High School Diploma / GED with 3+ years of relevant work experience in human resources or similar role + Must be 21 years of age or older

Knowledge of:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and

Microsoft Teams Skilledin:

+ Basic mathematics + Data entry and retrieval + Verbal and written communication + Attention to detail + Problem/situation analysis + Effective time and task management + Multitasking capabilities + Flexibility and adaptability Ability to: + Handle confidential information. + Communicate to a broad and diverse audience. + Maintain effective working relationships. + Demonstrate critical thinking. + Work with diverse populations and varying education levels. + Receive and communicate information orally and in writing. + Prioritize assignments, workload, and manage time accordingly. – PREFERRED

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field of study + Experience in human resources or similar role + Manufacturing and union experience

  • Work Environment and Physical Demand
  • + Occasionally lifts or moves objects 10 – 50 lbs.
