Job Description
Allied Universal is seeking a Full Time Hiring Specialist to join our growing team in Raleigh, NC.
The Hiring Specialist plays a critical administrative role in supporting the employee onboarding and North Carolina PPSB security guard licensing and renewal processes. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. This is an in office Monday- Friday role, primarily supporting the branch located at 4600 Marriott Dr Suite 510, Raleigh, NC 27612.
Some travel required to our Kinston, NC branch. Travel and mileage benefit offered. $17.50/ hour + Bonus program + Paid Time off + vacation benefit
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities include ensuring adherence to company policies and state licensing requirements, making outreach to candidates throughout the hiring process, scheduling and facilitating New Employee Orientation (NEO) sessions, and submitting and tracking North Carolina PPSB guard license applications and renewals. The Hiring Specialist will also follow up on incomplete background checks, maintain accurate employee documentation, and provide administrative support to the branch.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent
Must be able to travel between Raleigh NC and Kinston NC branches
Prior work experience in a professional administrative environment
Able to focus and multi-task in a busy environment
Ability to successfully handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner
Effective management skills; able to coordinate with multiple employees with diverse personalities and engage them to perform at optimum levels
Highly proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications and able to effectively utilize all available office management technology
Ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
College degree in business, human resources, or related field of study
Human resources and/or recruiting experience
Experience using CIMSiCIMS or other Applicant Tracking System
Experience using WinTeam or other Human Resources Information System
Experience using DOMO DOMO or other business intelligence tool
