•This Position is Pending Reallocation. •
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the OM/PA Team Supervisor (Agency HR Consultant I) in the Classification & Compensation and Salary Administration section. This role is responsible for overseeing the team that manages organizational structure, personnel action workflows, and action processing within the Integrated HR/Payroll system. This position will work in collaboration with managers and Human Resources representatives across the agency to review, process, and approve requests ensuring accuracy and alignment with policy. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership, in-depth knowledge of HR policies and systems, and a commitment to continuous improvement in HR operations.
Job duties/responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:
Supervise a team of HR professionals in handling personnel actions, position management, and organizational structure changes
Ensure all OM/PA actions comply with applicable federal and state HR laws, policies, and guidelines
Completing and auditing HR reports and documents to identify and correct errors, utilizing HRIS and other data management systems
Evaluate current workflow and identify opportunities for streamlining and improving processes
Foster a positive and productive team environment, providing training and support to team members
Collaborate with upper management and other sections to ensure HR practices align with organizational goals
Analyze personnel data and provide recommendations on workforce management strategies
This position is eligible for a flexible/hybrid telework schedule under the State of NC Telework Program.

Bachelor s degree, typically in Human Resources or related field from an appropriately accredited institution
