Human Resources Coordinator Proterial Cable America – 1.7 Manchester, NH Job Details Full-time $25 – $28 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Mid-level Microsoft Office Administrative experience High school diploma or GED Supervising experience Human resources Organizational skills SHRM Certified Professional Human Resources Associate’s degree 2 years Time management Full Job Description Position Summary The HR Coordinator is responsible for providing diverse support to the HR team in the areas of employee relations, employee engagement, recruitment, training and development, and overall HR operations. The HR Coordinator is a core member of the HR team and is responsible for helping to keep things running smoothly for all employees. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Lead the preparation and execution of all employee recognition programs and engagement activities and events Support the HR team with ad hoc projects, audits, performance reviews, benefits open enrollment, affirmative action program, etc. Assist with weekly new hire orientation by creating new hire packets, ordering food, and setting up conference room Initiate and track background screens and drug testing process for new hires Ensure new hires office/work area is prepared and welcoming on first day Create internal change forms and update data in all human resources databases for all new hires, promotions, departures. Ensure the accuracy of data entered into the various systems (ADP, Principal, BenefitSolver, and RAVE). Establishes, maintains and controls employee records, files, correspondence, and reports Update and maintain organizational Chart in real time Arrange meetings, compose correspondence, process confidential reports and documents and track deadlines Manage internal communication database (RAVE) and deliver communications at the request of HR management Track HR related expenses and prepare invoices for processing Maintain inventory of office supplies and order new supplies as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to multi-task and possess excellent organizational skills Amazing attention to detail Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment Comfortable communicating effectively with all levels of employees Works well within a team environment, as well as independently Proficiency with Microsoft Office and various technologies Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Safety Expectations Obey all safety rules, use caution in work activities, and continuously practice safe behaviors. Immediately report unsafe conditions/behaviors and work-related injuries to site supervision. Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED required; associates degree in HR preferred At least 2 years HR administrative experience within a diverse work environment required HR certification such as SHRM-CP highly desirable Supervisory Responsibility This position is not responsible for the oversight or performance management of other employees. Physical Demands Finger dexterity and hand/eye coordination for operation of office equipment, including PC Sitting for periods of time, working at a desk in office environment Light lifting, carrying of files, supplies, ability to move, carry, lift up to 30 lbs. of objects Ability to speak and hear customers, vendors, and or other employees via phone or in person Requires sufficient autonomy, standing and walking to move for one office location to another and throughout the plant Travel Little to no travel is expected for this position.
