Our client is seeking a highly organized and people-focused Human Resource / Safety Coordinator to support key HR functions and drive workplace safety. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, and benefits administration Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company HR policies and procedures Coordinate and deliver employee safety training; maintain safety compliance documentation Conduct safety inspections, monitor workplace hazards, and review incidents Maintain accurate employee records and assist with performance and disciplinary processes Serve as the first point of contact for HR and safety questions from staff and leadership Support employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs Update internal policies and employee handbook as needed Facilitate job fairs and participate in hiring events Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Safety, Business Administration, or related field (preferred) and/or workplace safety (preferred) Strong understanding of HR laws, OSHA regulations, and industry safety standards Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn HRIS systems quickly SHRM-CP and/or safety certifications are a plus Preferred Attributes Professional, approachable, and adaptable in fast-paced environments Committed to confidentiality, ethics, and a high standard of work Able to lead by example and promote a culture of safety and respect Comfortable managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines Compensation and Benefits Competitive pay range: $21-$25 per hour Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan Life insurance Paid vacation, holidays, and sick time Employee referral program Supportive, team-oriented work environment Opportunities for growth and advancement Work Environment Office-based role with routine facility walk-throughs Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds Must be able to move between departments within the facility Ready to make an impact in HR and workplace safety?
