Summary:
The HR Assistant/Receptionist will support a variety of HR functions by collaborating with the HR team to complete processes that provide support to management and employees. Accountable for data entry, record-keeping, and file maintenance in addition to providing HR customer service.
Essential Functions
Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions in person, via phone and email.
Input documentation into applicable systems and create employee profiles for all incoming hires, modify profiles when changes need to be completed and process separations.
Work closely with peers in HR department to ensure a quick turnaround of information and documentation to meet deadlines and objectives.
Coordinate with candidates to obtain and verify all required paperwork is complete and correct prior to hire.
Participate in conducting orientation for new employees.
File and maintain employee documents in personnel files.
Track status of and follow up with candidates, keep hiring managers up to date on candidate status.
Complete candidate reference and process background checks. Support employment verification process
Assist in recruiting process.
Perform other duties as assigned or as business needs dictate.

Job Requirements
Education and Experience
Associate degree or comparable clerical experience
Minimum of 1 year of front desk/receptionist experience.
Knowledge and understanding of general HR business processes and policies.
