Job Description Purpose of Position:
To ensure timely, accurate offboarding process regardless of separation reason.
Summary of Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure all Offboarding is done following standard work and policy; including the termination of all access.
Send out deactivation notices to all relevant parties (IT, Wages, Payroll, etc).
Ensure tasks are completed accurately and timely, eg.timesheets, evaluations.
Maintaining accuracy and Integrity of all applicable trackers and spreadsheets.
Partner with Central Office to coordinate the annual disclosure filing for the facility.
Complete financial disclosure report. Run Ad Hoc reports as required.
Resolves or appropriately routes general offboarding related inquires.
Reviewing offboarding documents for completeness.
Support other HR staff.
Review of Payroll work up for last day worked & last day paid Ensuring all relevant HR practices and policies are being followed.
May assist in offboarding activities following standard processes. Participates in all applicable regulatory, preparations. Performing other related confidential duties as assigned.
Communication with employees regarding retirement process
Coordinate with PAGNY, Leaves Administration & Labor Relations regarding timely input and communication around separations Minimum Qualifications 1. Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources Management, Public Relations, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline; or
2. High School Diploma or its educational equivalent and two (2) years of relevant experience in human resources, administration, labor relations, employee relations, learning and development, talent acquisition, customer service (providing information and resolving customer concerns), or a related administrative support function. Department Preferences
Transactional Human Resources experience, Including offboarding Working knowledge of PeopleSoft Strong customer service skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Analytical and creative problem-solving skills; Solid Time management skills and the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines. Ability to learn and apply new information Ability and willingness to work extended and flexible hours as needed to accomplish goals.
Experience working with union workforce
Experience and understanding of civil service administration process
At least two (2) years of prior HR experience in a public agency or governmental sector.
SHRM or PHR Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or any relevant field from an accredited college or university.
