out of 5 stars 1235 Montauk Highway, Mastic, NY 11950 SUMMARY Family Service League is seeking a full-time Assistant Program Director for our Integrated Outpatient Program in Mastic. The Assistant Program Director will work closely with the Program Director by providing administrative and clinical oversight of the day-to-day operations of an Integrated Behavioral Health Program, that treats people with both mental health and substance use disorders. RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Program Director in providing administrative and clinical oversight of the day-to-day operations of the clinic and clinic staff. The Assistant Program Director will lead weekly team meetings and individual or group supervision to clinic staff and interns as needed. Act as backup for any clinic cases. Coordinate with medical staff to ensure appropriate provision of medical services and storage of medications. The Assistant Program Director will provide annual performance evaluations for clinic staff. Work with the Program Director and other agency departments regarding the recruitment, hiring, and disciplinary action of employees. Ensure compliance with all NY-OMH and
NYS-OASAS
regulations and standards of care including reporting, tracking and review of significant incidents through the NIMRS system; chart review/utilization review; monitoring of high-risk cases. The Assistant Program Director will assist in reviewing all referrals and coordination with priority referral sources. Coordinate an open access process for referral. Attend other scheduled meetings and trainings as requested. This may include off-site meetings. Maintain licensure in a relevant clinical field. All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in social work or related field required. LMSW or LCSW preferred. Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience required. Minimum of 3 years of prior supervisory experience working in a mental health clinic setting, including serving clients with co-occurring disorders required. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills required. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records (EMR), required.
