Job Description
The Human Resources Coordinator will support the daily functions of the Association’s Human Resources Department, helping it to operate efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a broad range of human resources principles and practices. A Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field of study is preferred, although not required. Overall responsibilities will include, but are not limited to
- Acting as the point of contact for administration of health and welfare benefit plans
- Assisting with the employee leave of absence process
- Assisting with the workers’ compensation claims process
- Assisting with recruitment efforts
- Acting as a point person for the employee timekeeping system
- Performing administrative functions in support of the department, such as answering the phone and directing departmental calls, photocopying, filing, typing employment letters, proofreading documents, and processing job changes.
