Essential Duties and Responsibilities HR Administration:

Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and personnel files Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and system updates Prepare HR-related employee documentation and reports Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements Prepares HR information for full staff meetings and other regular communications. Coordinates employee activities and recognition programs based on Gift of Life calendar of annual events New Hire Processing and Orientation Ensures compliance with new hire processing requirements, including pre-employment health screening and pre-boarding documentation; processes newly hired employees, guiding them through the completion of forms and selection of and participation in benefits; provides an orientation to HR policy & programs as well as Gift of Life culture and the donation & transplantation process. Completes onboarding steps using new hire processing checklists. Assigns mandatory compliance training and coordinates with the IT department on new hire security training. Creates a computerized employee record in the HR Information System and creates required manual records for all newly hired staff. Coordinates with Payroll to ensure tax jurisdiction and relevant tax codes are accurately set up on all applicable systems and forms for new employees. Recruits, Screens, and Selects Staff Manages candidates through the pre-screening, interview, and hiring process for select roles. Supports communication and administration of benefits programs Manages the full process cycle for health insurance and FSA enrollments, including liaising with insurance carriers, initiating enrollment and un-enrollment processes, reviewing monthly insurance carrier billings, and supporting the annual open enrollment process. Manages 403(b) staff enrollment and supports staff education by organizing regular staff meetings with 403(b) representatives. Processes and tracks benefit program reimbursements, including fitness reimbursement program and tuition reimbursement program. Organizes health screenings and annual immunization clinics. Manages Employee Records Effectively manages record storage systems established for active employees, separated employees, I-9s, and electronic employee files, ensuring accuracy in all employee information and data. Consistently follows standard operating procedures for recording all employee onboarding, offboarding, and changes in employee personnel files. Participates in special projects to support the department’s contribution to the Gift of Life Mission Provides support to department and organization leadership in meeting annual departmental goals and objectives. Assists department leadership with special projects. Job Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Minimum of three years of related experience in an HR role Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Microsoft Office experience Experience with ADP preferred
