Job Summary :
The HR Administrator will be detail-oriented and organized to support the onboarding process for newly hired nurses. This role plays a key part in ensuring a smooth and professional experience for new clinical team members as they transition into their roles. The HR Nursing Administrator will handle all administrative and compliance tasks related to onboarding. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a customer-service mindset, and a good understanding of HR processes within a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule pre-employment steps (background checks, drug screenings, credential verifications, etc) Prepare onboarding materials, including HR documentation and training schedules. Maintain and track employee files to ensure compliance with licensing, certification, and credentialing requirements. Assist new hires with completing all required HR forms and policies, including I-9’s, benefits enrollment, and orientation checklists. Serve as point of contact for onboarding-related questions and support from new nursing staff. Liaise between HR and Nursing departments to ensure timely onboarding and orientation. Track and report onboarding progress to HR and nursing leadership. Support general HR administrative tasks as needed. Other duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred. 1-2 years of HR, administrative or healthcare onboarding experience strongly preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills, Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems, preferably ADP Workforce Now. Knowledge of healthcare licensing and credentialing is a plus.
Physical Demands:
