Human Resources Coordinator 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars Lewisberry, PA 17339 Position Summary The HR Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support in key areas of human resources, including employee relations, claims management, and unemployment handling. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and excellent customer service skills. This role is essential to maintaining compliance and ensuring smooth HR operations.
Essential Functions:
Serves as the primary point of contact for managing, tracking and reporting workers’ compensation claims until resolution of our third-party administrators. Assists with identifying and implementing best practices, polices, and procedures for claims management. Works closely with third party administrators, insurance brokers, and external/ inhouse counsel on claim decisions and determine scope of work to be performed. Manage the unemployment claims process, including responding to claims, providing necessary documentation, and attending hearings as needed. Assist with the data entry and reporting from the HRIS System. Assist in the preparation and filing of compliance reports, such as EEO-1, workers’ compensation, and unemployment claims. Ensure legal compliance by monitoring applicable federal and state HR regulations. Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and other HR-related inquiries. Processes pre-employment activities for new hires including background checks. Help resolve employee concerns and escalate issues to HR leadership as necessary. Human Resources Manger and VP Human Resources Abilities and Physical Demands:
Strong interpersonal and communications skills. Ability to handle extremely sensitive and business confidential information with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality. Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Experience with HRIS, Paycom a plus Ability to work within a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency and maintain high standards of accuracy. Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
Education and Other Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or related experience and/ or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be at least 21 years of age.
