Overview eREV is seeking a Lead Administrative Specialist for our facility in Ladson, South Carolina. The successful incumbent will thrive on taking initiative, excel at wearing multiple hats, and can switch roles swiftly as circumstances evolve. Collaboration is critical at this facility, with open communication and a team-first attitude driving success. The person in this position will be responsible for all administrative functions at this facility and may function as a first-line supervisor who will report to the President. The Lead Administrative Specialist will perform the organization’s administrative functions which include records management, scheduling, payroll, disciplinary actions, interviewing, onboarding, time, and attendance and employee training oversight. This skilled professional will support field office facility operations to ensure client and employee satisfaction during the hours of 6:30am to 3:00pm. This position will be in a fulfillment production environment supporting operations employees. $26.50 – $28.00 hour plus benefits. Bonus of $5000 paid end of each year of employment. Responsibilities Lead Administrative Specialist duties will include, but are not limited to: Receive, approve/deny and process employee vacation and/or sick time requests according to company policy. Administration support, paperwork and training for new employees. Complete/communicate Corrective Actions Reports for Attendance Complete/communicate Performance Improvement Plans for work performance Write/issue employee’s Production Quality Findings Ensure employee Orientation/Training/Competency Assessment File are completed Maintain ongoing state of readiness, available for inspections Process paperwork for employee termination. Professionally answer phones and conduct other day-to-day office administration as needed. Update attendance controller daily. Prepare/issue necessary warnings and counseling for attendance violations in accordance with policy. Assist with employee relations matters as they arise. Assist Human Resources by ensuring preparation of necessary paperwork and files for FMLA, Workers Compensation, EEOC, HIPPA, OSHA, AAP, and Joint Commission in accordance with company policies and procedures. Process daily hours and payroll reviews meeting Accounting Departments required submission times. Complete daily, weekly and quarterly reports Assist processing and issuing Incentive awards Other duties as directed. Qualifications To be considered for this position, Administrative Specialist candidates must have: 5+ years clerical/administrative experience. Managerial/supervisory experience in a food, pharmaceutical or medical device fulfillment or production environment is preferred. Minimum of a Technical Certificate in related field or higher degree. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines. The ability to work flexible hours as needed. Superb organizational and time-management abilities A high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, poise, tact and diplomacy to accomplish objectives. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Suite as well as the Internet. Comprehensive understanding of office management processes Ability to use the following office equipment: fax machine, scanner, personal computer, telephone, copier and printer.
