Prog Asst – Admin/HR Liaison – YC 2.9 2.9 out of 5 stars Richland County, SC Job Responsibilities Serves as administrative/human resources (HR) liaison for SC Youth/Job Challenge Academy with state Human Resources Office (SHRO). Submits all Personnel Action Requests forms (PARs) and various HR related documents. Maintains time and attendance support for all SC Youth/Job Challenge Academy staff. Coordinates with SHRO on various HR and employee issues for the department. Performs a variety of administrative and office management functions for the department. Maintains employee and cadet accountability reporting into program database. Prepares applications coordination and interviews with selections team. Assists with new hire paperwork for ID access. Maintain cadet’s disciplinary files, appointments and daily accountability records. Minimum and Additional Requirements A high school diploma and relevant program experience. A bachelor’s degree may be substituted for the required program experience. Preferred Qualifications A high school diploma and two years’ experience in administrative and office management. Knowledge of SCEIS Time Administration is a plus. Additional Comments Knowledge of laws, regulations and procedures relevant to the area of employment. Ability to exercise judgment and discretion. Ability to establish and maintain working relationships. Oversee all aspects of general office coordination. Maintain office calendar to coordinate work flow and meetings. Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff and agency information. Interact with staff clients and visitors.
