The HR / Administrative Assistant position is a multifaceted support role responsible for assisting the Human Resources Department, the Administration Department, and other departments with a range of human resources and administrative functions. The HR / Administrative Assistant maintains and upholds confidentiality in all necessary support functions.
Responsibilities HR-related duties:
Assists the HR Generalist with monitoring ads, applicant tracking, and scheduling candidate interviews. Assists with maintaining employee files and preparing HR documents and reports. Assists with scanning and filing of paperwork, employee files, and confidential HR documents. Assists with maintaining pre-hire or post hire testing such as drug screening, background checks, lead testing, etc. Assists with coordinating schedules for the HR department, including meetings and events. Keeps administrative calendar and sends notifications. Is extremely confidential and discreet. Other duties as assigned.
Admin-related duties:
Prepares the monthly employee newsletter. Assists custom department with calling FFL dealers. Sends emails to Shoot270 members. Helps to organize the annual open house event. Coordinates with USCCA. Coordinates special events including employee lunches and various other company parties. Coordinates employee birthday festivities including monthly pastry orders and signing of birthday cards. Coordinates the design and ordering of various promotional and packaging materials for marketing team. Other duties as assigned. Experience 2 or more years of administrative support experience required. 1 year of HR Assistant experience preferred.
