HR Administrative Specialist Contemporary Community Solution Llc Memphis, TN Job Details Full-time $20 – $27 an hour 2 days ago Qualifications Mid-level Microsoft Office High school diploma or GED Driver’s License Conflict management Organizational skills 1 year Communication skills Negotiation Full Job Description The HR Administrative Specialist will ensure the efficient operations of the company by managing the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including but not limited to screening potential staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, enforcing company policies and practices and compliance with regulatory authorities. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Recruit, interview and hire staff 2. Conduct new hire training 3. Maintain employee files in accordance with regulatory requirements 4. Monitor expiration dates for training, CPR, Med Admin, driver’s license, and insurance for all employees 5. Coordinate insurance and supplemental benefits for staff 6. Respond to unemployment claims and other claims timely 7. Participate in disciplinary action meetings along with Program Coordinators and Senior Management 8. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. 9. Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. 10. Other duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent A minimum of two years of office administration experience preferred. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
